North Pole Season Cancelled

Skiing to the North Pole is restricted to a small time window each year. In 2019 the window has been closed shut before anyone has started! There has been political wrangling between Russia and Ukraine over flight arrangements required to get supplies and people to the starting point.  The time window itself has been reduced

Art “Karts” Huseonica recently set a new Arizona Trail record by yo-yoing the Trail in one calendar year.

On December 12, 2018 at 12:00PM Karts and a small group of friends and officials from the Arizona Trail Association reached the trail’s southern terminus on the Mexican border. Eirliani Rahman, to ski to North Pole, April 2019

Eirliani Rahman is aiming to ski 100 miles (161 km) from 13-25 April 2019 to the North Pole to raise awareness on child sexual abuse.  Most recently she has been training in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
