On her 30,000km walking odyssey Lucy has now passed through the worst of the Atacama Desert, crossed into Peru and approaching the end of arid Atacama territory.

Now about 2/3 the way through South America she is at a place called Pedregal. Loosely translated that would be Foot Queen! How apt!

Traveling with dog buddy Wombat, it seems Lucy has opted for the coastal route to make sure she clears Peru within her visa time limit which as of now is about 160 days. That works out at more than 20km each day!

Lucy is wearing ArmaSkin for blister prevention on this amazing journey.

BlistersndBliss Review of ArmaSkin

The anti-blister liners. I know, it totally contradicts our website name right? But I had to try them. Because even though blisters are okay when followed by bliss, I’d rather just have bliss without the blisters. I was skeptical of these liners at first. Special fabric to prevent blisters? Hmmmm. I’ll just get better fitting socks
