Søren Simonsen, using ArmaSkin for blister prevention, at last reading was 826 miles along the Pacific Crest Trail.  Heading towards Middle Fork Kings River at an altitude of about 8200ft, the air will be somewhat thin and conditions will be cold and tough. Exacerbated by remaining heavy Winter snow the terrain will be difficult underfoot and be punctuated by traversing swollen streams and rivers.

Art’s Arizona Trail Hike passes 600 miles.

Having left the Mexican border late February, Art Huseonica has now covered 600 miles of the Arizona Trail. By all reports he is in good shape having recently restocked at Flagstaff. The weather remains a constantly changing companion for Art who noted that within an afternoon he went from hot and dry to snow covered.
