Day 6, 243 miles on #PCT2017 Søren, in a small group, has reached the town of Idyllwild. There's a piece of the trail that is closed due to a fire a few years ago, so the alternative was to go on a dangerous path or hitch to Idyllwild so he chose the latter. The afternoon was spent shopping, laundry, and filling up on calories, preparation of the next stage, as well as inspection of feet.nThe temperature is up and he’s become quite addicted to water, drinking approx 6-8 litres daily. The pictures show different sources of water; sometimes from small ponds, and other places have so-called “trailangels” who run small water out on the route.nTomorrow will be up over Mount Jacinto 3302m
