Recent ArmaSkin blog post:    Thredbo to Mt Kosciuszko Summit

In last month's edition we mentioned hiking on  at Kosciuszko.  An expanded version of the hiking experience on this trail has been provided in the blog Hiking to the top of Australia; Mt Kosciuszko.

Recent ArmaSkin blog post:  Bug out bag anyone?

While Bug Out Bags have connotations of Doomsday Preppers rushing away from a soon to be crushed metropolis, the sad reality is that with the growing prevalence of bushfires and floods Bug Out Bags are a topic requiring serious consideration for many.  In a recent article by Kyt Lyn Walken, considerations for Bug Out Bags are laid out for you.  Everyone's situation is different but some simple and wise preparation now could make a major difference if you are in the unfortunate situation of having to leave your home in an emergency.

Other sides of ArmaSkin fans.

 Story Bridge (Brisbane)

Mikey:  Heading into the new year with a new job.   Getting made redundant definitely wasn't the worst thing that happened to me. I'm out of the Engineering/techie world (for a little while), and back in the tourism game! And what a way to see out my time in Brisbane, taking guests up and across Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge! If you've been to Brisbane or ever Googled "Brisbane", then you know the bridge I'm talking about.  So, if you're in Brisbane any time soon and wanna hang out with me at 80m above the Brown Snake, then you know where to find me. I promise we'll have fun."

We will see more of Mikey when he heads off to the 2200km Croatian Long Distance Trail (CLDT) later in 2024!
