Mission Accomplished!! The Cape to Cape track Western Australia. 135km of soul crushing sand. But what a track! Huge shout out to Lighter Faster Hire for allowing me to take a Hyperlite Mountain Gear pack out for a spin!! More track goodness to come!⁣

West Highland Way (Scotland)

Greg (far right) and his two mates are currently treading Scotland's West Highland Way.  (and yes the man in the middle is about to head off to get his hiking gear).

The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles (154 Km) from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.

Normally the route is completed from south to north, the thinking behind this being the southern stages are easier and will prepare you for the more demanding northern stages.

Greg has opted for blister prevention with ArmaSkin.  Sure looks like some damp hiking ahead so a good decision indeed.

USA Amazon ArmaSkin Reseller Opportunity

If you are in the USA you may have noted that ArmaSkin has been available via Amazon.

We have been operating there on a Fulfilled By Amazon basis for four years.

We wish to take this opportunity to explore operating on a Fulfilled by Merchant basis which means that our third party needs to be willing to hold stock and mail out orders as they are received via Amazon. While stock will require some space, this is definitely a working opportunity that can be done from home or an existing business.

It is important to note that we are likely to offer this arrangement to only one party for the USA which gives a level of certainty to the economics of their business.

"Whilst trail is easy the distance is hard with stairs and a dropped foot. Solo walking but unimaginable scenes so when considering turning back you see more.

Outdoor Retailer Trade Show : Postponed!

The recent spike in community transmission of Covid in Melbourne has led to the postponement of ORA 2021.

This show for Australian outdoors enthusiasts and in particular those with an interest in gear retailing will hopefully be rescheduled for later this year.

Blister Prevention

Orangeville Foot Clinic captured the essence of blister prevention in a recent blog on their site.
"Blisters can be painful or become infected! For the average person’s foot and toe, blisters are usually self-healing within five days from them occurring. Blisters associated with medical conditions such as Diabetes or epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA) may take longer to repair.

USA Deliveries

During May we received a disappointing delivery from the Post Office.  A batch of ArmaSkin destined for the USA had been returned to us.  We've tried to make alternative arrangements for this sad turn of events and apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers.

Hopefully part of a longer term solution to improving delivery performance to USA customers will come from our Amazon USA initiative.
